Ron enjoys building strong teams, processes and cultures that excel. Constructing commercial teams that drive the adoption of disruptive processes, technologies and therapies across complex healthcare ecosystems, is Ron's professional joy. Ron's experience entails startups, private equity-backed companies and large global organizations. Ron is a serial start-up investor, including investments in companies such as AtaCor, Append, CardioSense, Cleerly and CorVista. Ron believes we can make huge strides to prevent heart attacks.

Ron joined CVAUSA, knowing the company operates at the intersection of innovation, commercialization, and leadership—transforming cardiology medical solutions into category-defining markets. Turning vision into execution, aligning strategy, structure, systems and culture that improve patient outcomes at scale, is the goal.

As Vice President of Operations for The Heart Network, Melissa Sanders leads the development and operation of its affiliate model, helping independent cardiovascular practices access greater capabilities, resources and scale while maintaining their independence. 

Melissa brings over 17 years of experience in operations, project management and organizational development. She works across clinical, operational and business teams to build the scalable processes, infrastructure and partnerships needed to support affiliate onboarding and long-term performance. 

Before joining The Heart Network, Melissa served as Director of Enterprise Project Management at MedAxiom and the American College of Cardiology. She holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.

Anne Beekman has more than 30 years of experience, including roles in cardiovascular nursing, hospital administration, consulting, and industry solutions. At the heart, Anne is passionate about developing and implementing new programs that optimize resources and ultimately improve patient outcomes.

Paula Furcron brings more than 35 years of experience in cardiology. Throughout her career, she has held a range of operating positions spanning clinical management, product development, and system implementations, giving her a comprehensive understanding of both the clinical and technical sides of cardiovascular care.

Paula served as Director of Specialty Market for Cardiology at NextGen Healthcare, where she focused on advancing EHR solutions tailored to cardiology practices. Before that, she spent 30 years with Virginia Cardiovascular Specialists, where she built deep expertise in clinical operations and specialty care management.

Outside of her professional career, Paula enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family, including an annual tradition of taking her grandchildren to Disney World.

Rebecca “Becka” Holt brings more than 35 years of healthcare leadership experience spanning clinical care, cardiovascular operations, supply chain, strategic sourcing, contracting, and value analysis. A Registered Nurse by training, Becka began her career in critical care and cardiovascular services before advancing into cardiovascular operations and enterprise supply chain leadership. This unique combination of clinical and business experience has shaped her approach to building supply chain strategies that align physicians, operations, and financial priorities.

Becka served as Vice President of Supply Chain for Ardent Health, where she led enterprise supply chain strategy across a 30-hospital, multistate health system. Her career also includes leadership roles with AllSpire Health GPO, HealthTrust, and Wellmont Health System.

Becka leads enterprise supply chain strategy, with a focus on leveraging organizational scale, strengthening supplier partnerships, building scalable infrastructure, and supporting the continued growth and delivery of high-quality cardiovascular care.

Dana Hurst, MBA is the Manager of Home-Based Cardiac Rehabilitation, where she leads the development and expansion of innovative care models that bring high-quality cardiovascular services directly to patients. She oversees strategic growth, operations, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance access, improve outcomes, and elevate the patient experience.

Through a combination of healthcare leadership and business expertise, Dana is committed to advancing patient-centered care and driving meaningful transformation in cardiac rehabilitation.

Amy Kay is a healthcare executive with 16+ years of experience in managed care, value- and risk-based contracting, payer-provider strategy, and clinical integration.

In her role, she leads value-based contracting and CIN strategy, aligning payer relationships, quality performance, and network initiatives to support high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care.

Amy served as Director of Provider Network Management at AmeriHealth Caritas Florida, where she led contracting initiatives across complex managed care programs.

She also held roles at Molina Healthcare and Meridian Health Plan, building expertise in contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and provider performance. Amy partners with physicians, payers, and operational leaders to advance value-based care and drive improvements in quality, performance, and patient outcomes.

Sarah Long is a seasoned leader in research administration with a strong track record of centralizing and optimizing clinical research operations. She brings extensive experience in streamlining research infrastructure, enhancing compliance, and fostering collaboration between healthcare institutions and industry leaders.

In her current role, Sarah is spearheading the development of a national research network for clinical trials and research, expanding collaborative opportunities with industry partners and driving innovation in research infrastructure. She plays a vital role in advancing new research initiatives, strengthening clinical research capabilities, and ensuring access to groundbreaking clinical trials.

Sarah led the centralization of clinical research operations for a large health system and academic medical center. She oversaw the full research lifecycle, including grants and contracts management, clinical trial patient billing, pre- and post-award administration, and the implementation of IT infrastructure to modernize and streamline research processes. She played a pivotal role in navigating institutional consolidations and mergers, successfully aligning research operations across multiple entities. Under her leadership, clinical research programs expanded significantly, providing greater access to Phase 1 through Phase 4 clinical trials for both healthcare providers and the communities they serve.

With a deep commitment to advancing research, Sarah Long continues to drive innovation, operational excellence, and collaboration in clinical research and clinical trials. She holds a Bachelor and Master of Science and is currently completing her Doctor of Science in Healthcare Leadership.

Libby Rohlfing is a seasoned healthcare executive with more than 25 years of experience in payor-provider partnerships, managed care contracting, strategic negotiations, and healthcare system innovation. She currently leads managed care contracting initiatives, payor relationship management, and strategic payer partnerships.

Libby spent many years with another Webster Equity Partners portfolio company, along with several emerging healthcare technology and treatment provider companies. Throughout her career, she has successfully developed and executed payer strategies while negotiating and managing complex contractual relationships with both national and regional payers across all 50 states.

Libby is known for her collaborative approach, working closely with health plan leadership and provider organizations to align objectives and foster partnerships that improve outcomes for health plans, practices, and patients alike.

Outside of her professional work, Libby enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor activities including golf and boating.

Travis Stamper has more than 30 years of healthcare experience, including leadership in the acute care setting, cardiovascular service line management, and strategic consulting in the cardiovascular space.

Stamper partnered with physicians to create two, de novo, cardiovascular-specific ambulatory surgery centers. During his time on this two-year project, he was highly involved in every aspect of this assignment from concept to completion.

Additionally, he was previously retained to assist with negotiations of ownership arrangements between other independent physicians, a large cardiology group, and a cardiovascular-specific ASC management company, Cardiovascular Centers of America (CCA).

Stamper is a well-rounded individual as both a leader and clinician which allows him to make the most informed decisions.

He is a trained cardiovascular invasive specialist (Cath Lab, EP, Interventional Radiology, Hybrid OR) and a licensed and registered Respiratory Therapist in Utah and Florida and holds a BS and MBA in healthcare administration from Western Governors University.

Eric brings over 16 years of experience in cardiac imaging, with deep specialization in nuclear medicine and advanced imaging modalities. He currently serves as Senior Director of Operations at Cardiovascular PET Solutions (CPS), where he oversees operations, quality assurance, and team leadership across the organization's imaging network.

Eric previously served as Director of Imaging at Heart and Vascular Care, LLC, and before that spent more than 11 years as a Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist, building hands-on expertise in nuclear cardiology and patient care. He is a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) with extensive knowledge of PET/CT, myocardial perfusion imaging, and radiation safety.

Eric holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science from Georgia Southern University and completed his Nuclear Medicine certification at Chattanooga State Community College. He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA in Healthcare Leadership, further strengthening his strategic and operational perspective on cardiac care delivery.

Throughout his career, Eric has built a track record of implementing imaging protocols, optimizing workflows, and improving patient outcomes through innovative practices. He is known for close collaboration with providers, a strong commitment to regulatory compliance, and an unwavering focus on diagnostic accuracy.
